With over a decade of hands-on experience as a hairstylist, Elizabeth Cervantes brings specialized expertise to Kind + Able as its co-founder. For the past five years, through her business Ability Cuts, Elizabeth has dedicated herself to transforming the hair-cutting experience for children with special abilities, helping thousands of families overcome barriers to this essential self-care routine.Elizabeth's deep understanding of the unique challenges many children face during hair cutting experiences informs everything at Kind + Able. Her vision for the brand extends her mission of creating supportive, accessible care environments—bringing that same sense of comfort from the salon chair to the bathtub.As co-founder, Elizabeth is passionate about ensuring that bath time becomes a moment of joy and empowerment for every child, regardless of ability. As a mother who understands the everyday challenges parents face, Mayra co-founded Kind + Able with a simple vision: bath time routines that work for every child. Her journey in motherhood revealed the need for a truly inclusive approach that celebrate children's differences while making self-care accessible for all.With her background in marketing, SaaS product development for B2C companies, and a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications from Middle Tennessee State University, Mayra brings a unique blend of storytelling and business expertise to Kind + Able. Her experience in filmmaking taught her the power of authentic representation, which guides the brand's approach to inclusivity.Kind + Able represents her commitment to creating thoughtful, effective products that grow with families.
